ELTON was founded in 1977 in the Industrial Electronics sector, specializing in the supply of custom electronic equipment, i.e. constructed to the customer’s specifications beyond the consumer production limits. From the very beginning, it stood out for its strong mission of designing and constructing “objects” conceived to function in every situation, with a high degree of reliability even in particularly hostile environmental conditions (e.g. operating temperature range –40° to +70°C), also characterized by innovative and economically correct technical solutions, in the continuous pursuit of total customer satisfaction. There are still pieces of equipment owned by customers that are still functioning perfectly after at least twenty years of uninterrupted service, without failures, and which are still technologically valid. This is a reason for company pride and trust and preference by the traditional customers.
This activity has led ELTON, down through the years, to be able to operate in the most varied industrial sectors, gaining the experience and flexibility necessary for enabling it to design, construct, and put into operation professional civilian and military electronic automation equipment, from foundries to the food industry, from the energy distribution network to integrated process control (factory automation), from the pharmaceutical industry to the packaging or automobile industry.
The ability to provide brilliant, punctual solutions for the problems expressed by the market and the constant investment in research and updating have allowed the continuous growth of the degree of professionalism and the preparation of the company’s technical managers. And in the year 2001 the company obtained Quality Certification in conformity with the UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 (ISO 9001:2000) standard.

Today ELTON is a construction and engineering company which is capable of:

	designing the hardware and software of complex automation boards or devices, also on behalf of third parties;
	constructing and installing cable and radio remote control and remote signalling systems, with the design of customized software for the creation of operating stations (supervision);
	creating the prototypes and then starting production of electronic devices made to the customer’s technical specifications, which also meet the standards of the receiving markets and/or particular regulations (e.g.: EC, MIL);
	constructing and supplying important and original electronic machine parts, designed in close collaboration with the customer and particularly innovative, for the handling / partial or total management of hydraulic machinery and systems;
	applying artificial vision systems on the production line, for the purpose of quality control, dimensional checking, guided control of the machine handling, and identification and marking of products;
	supplying a technical consulting service in the electronic, electric, pneumatic and hydraulic fields in the phase of mechanical design of machinery and industrial systems;
	collaborating and developing the customers’ ideas, transforming them into functional and particularly reliable products, created to operate “always and anyway”;
	providing technical assistance to the customer in the maintenance and/or modification and updating of the machinery, also with remote diagnostic programmes (teleassistance).
